Planned Parenthood gives new meaning to the term “Non-Profit”

Giving new meaning to the term “non-profit,” Planned Parenthood made over $106 million of profit last year (July 2008-July 2009).  So why are taxpayers helping to finance this money-making machine that is also the world’s largest provider of abortions?  Especially amidst allegations that Planned Parenthood Affiliates have overbilled the federal government to the tune of millions of dollars and used funding for improper political activity.

Family Research Council just released a new pamphlet:  Planned Parenthood: What Every Parent, Teacher, Woman, Community Leader and Elected Official Needs to Know that helps explain how in this time of economic downturn the Planned Parenthood abortion industry continues to thrive.  The pamphlet is short and well worth your time.  Here are a few excerpts:

  • The founding of Planned Parenthood is tied to the Eugenics movement.
  • The U.S. has the highest abortion rate in the western world, over 50 million preborn children aborted since Roe v. Wade (1973).
  • In 2007, Planned Parenthood performed 305,310 abortions and just 4,912 adoption referrals. (that’s less than 2% of babies whose mothers enter the door of a Planned Parenthood  clinic will ever be born)
  • If you want to know the kinds of things that Planned Parenthood thinks is appropriate sex education for your child, check out http://www.plannedparenthood.org/teen-talk/

Viewer/reader beware.

  1. A great resource of information about this would be the documentary- Maafa21 which tells all the ugly Planned Parenthood/ Margaret Sanger/ eugenics/ racist history- check out Maafa21 here http://www.maafa21.com

  2. I hate Planned Parenthood. How dare they even use the term parenthood. It’s awful. I couldn’t believe what they had on their Teen Talk website. How can they do this to women, girls.
